Sweet Home COLORADO!!!

I've recently moved back to Vail Colorado.  My family and I were the praise and worship leaders of a church in Texas and through much prayer and deliberation we've decided to come back to this beautiful land we call home.   We used to lead the praise and worship at Believer's Way Church, http://www.believersway.com/ in Edwards, CO before the move to Texas.  We are still in good relationship with BWC and recommend anyone interested in a new church or just travelling threw on vacation to stop by and check out their service.
We are also in relationship with Highway Community Church in Boulder, CO.  http://www.highwaycommunity.com/. Pastor's Steve and Missy Crowder planted the church about a year ago and they are growing, thriving and reaching the college age and young families.  Amanda and I will be playing and singing along side the HWC band at their "Adoration" worship service.  A night of intense, passionate praise and worship held at New Vista High School on Sunday, February 28th 6pm.
We also are connecting with Inspiration Church in Colorado Spring, CO. http://inspirationchurch.wordpress.com/lead-pastor/. This up and coming church is scheduled to launch their first service sometime in September of 2010 but they are currently holding various bible studies and unconventional outreaches as they are getting the word out and expanding their ministry.   Amanda and I will be singing at their "Faith & Ale" outreach on March 26th, 7pm.
I am available to lead modern worship music at any service or outreach in Colorado.  You may contact me through this blog page to schedule an event.  We love God with all our heart and we love introducing people to Him through the power music!  God Bless Everybody!!!

Gospel Music Contest

For those of you who have been following me in my efforts to win the Gospel Music Indie Artist contest. Unfortunately, I did not make it through the opening round. Meaning that I was not among the top 100 most popular artists who entered the contest. However, I am not discouraged by this. I have learned so much through this process and more of how the biz works. Though I was not allowed to see how many votes I had I was able to see that I had almost 1,500 views on my artist page. Meaning the my songs were listened to about 1,500 times over the period of just 1 month!!! This is in fact very encouraging to me! I wouldn't have expected that many people to be that interested in listening to my music on the Internet!
Well, I may not have won this contest but did I win some more courage and confidence in myself and all that God has done in me. I plan to continue to write songs of modern smooth worship and post them on this blog. I will eventually be looking for an opportunity to get into a studio and lay down my songs to make them available to the public and I will also begin looking for venues and gigs to play my songs. Thanks for you support, everyone! God bless you!
